WHAT YOU GET

What a Farrer appraisal shows you

A written price range for your home, with the recent sales and buyer demand behind it, explained in plain English. An appraisal is a market opinion from a licensed agent, not a formal valuation, and it costs nothing.

A price range, with the evidence

Recent comparable sales from your street and suburb sit beside the range, so you can see how the number was reached.

Who is likely to buy

The kind of buyer your home suits, and what they will compare it with.

What to do next, and what to leave alone

Preparation worth doing before you sell, and spending that will not come back to you.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Questions people ask

How much does an appraisal cost?

Nothing. Desktop and on-site appraisals are both free, with no obligation.

How long does an appraisal take?

A desktop appraisal is a written price range emailed within 24 hours. For an on-site appraisal, Daniel visits first and follows with a written range and practical selling advice.

Is an appraisal the same as a valuation?

No. An appraisal is a market opinion from a licensed agent. A formal valuation is done by a registered valuer, usually for a bank or a legal purpose.

Which suburbs do you cover?

East Gosford, Erina, Springfield, Green Point, Saratoga, Kincumber and Terrigal.

Who will I deal with?

Daniel Byrne, the Class 1 licensed agent and founder of Farrer Property Co, deals with you directly, starting with your appraisal.

Will you pressure me to sell?

No. Most appraisals are for owners thinking 6 to 18 months ahead, and the advice is useful whether or not you sell with Farrer.
